2021 Annual Meeting

  • Thursday, Mar 11 — Sunday, Mar 14
  • The Internet

Message from SAAP President:

This CFP has been revised to reflect the present COVID-19 realities. First, the deadline has been moved to October 1st; second, the conference has changed format to be only ONLINE; third, and most important, the conference will remain the premier place for researchers working in the traditions of American philosophy to share their best work. Our conversations have always been constructive sites that advance scholarship, and this conference will be no different. This program will remain peer-reviewed and competitive for the society’s different prizes. As usual, a selection of the proceedings will be published in The Pluralist proceedings issue. Further details about the registration processes and costs are TBA.

Let me add one thing in my capacity as the 2021 Local Host: I fully intend to try to bring SAAP’s annual meeting to Denver as soon as feasible. That will not be in 2021, but please stay tuned. I was really looking forward to hosting you all, and I will not give up. Take care of yourselves — and I look forward to engaging with you philosophically very soon.
