Harris-Jones Prize

This prize is named for Leonard Harris (1948- ) and William R. Jones (1933-2012) and recognizes work in all areas relevant to the Philosophy of the Black Experience, particularly in the Americas. Example areas of interest include recovery/exposition of relevant ideas of an overlooked Black philosopher, or a philosophical inquiry of the Black Experience in connection to culture/ cultural production, religion, political thought/political economy, or existential humanism (broadly conceived).
